Carlisle, Iowa  - "The Natural Choice"  

The purpose of the foundation is to support and encourage programs and organizations that enhance education, community betterment, arts and culture, health, and human services. The foundation will award grants equal to 5% of its assets on an annual basis. Grant applications will be solicited from local groups and organizations, and will be evaluated based on guidelines developed by the foundation.  

 

2012 Grant Cycle:  Grant Applications are now being accepted through March 1, 2012 !

Both Warren County foundation and the Carlisle community foundation will be granting awards to qualified projects.  The deadline for both applications are the same.  The requirements for both applications are very simple.  You can find the Warren County application at www.warrencountypp.org.


2011 Fall Grant Recipients:   Come celebrate with these organizations receiving awards on November 28th, 5:30 P.M. at the Randleman House

  • Carlisle Area Historical Society
  • Carlisle Middle School
  • Carlisle Parks and Recreation
  • Carlisle Public Library

Contributions are being solicited from businesses and individuals in the area to help non-profit community projects in the Greater Carlisle Area.   You may contact any other member of the Board to arrange for a donation or to discuss any questions that you might have about the Endowment projects.  The primary focus of the foundation will be on developing planned giving, such as estate bequests, charitable gift annuities, and charitable remainder trusts. The board members of the Foundation and several other citizens throughout the community have agreed to serve on various committees of the Board.
